NGP NGP (Newton Graphics Package) is an object-based drawing program for Newton. The introductory version of NGP allows users to quickly create rough sketches as well as diagrams through the use of a standard set of tools. These tools, resembling clip-art, include a basic set of boxes, lines and circles; advanced tool sets may include custom symbols for landscaping, circuit design, and other specialized layout tasks. Inherent in NGP is the ability for developers with the Newton Toolkit to create their own tools and have them imported into NGP. Information for developers wishing to build and distribute NGP tool sets will be forthcoming. The ability to export drawings created in NGP to a desktop computer will be available for both the Windows and Macintosh platforms late first quarter or early second quarter 1996.README.TXT Text file you are reading now.NGP11E.PKG The installable NGP program.NGPH10E.PKG The installable NGP documentation in Newton Book format.TOOLS Various installable tool sets.
